Day 3: Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom--definitely the biggest park of the 4 (definitely had the most things to do). Our first stop was The Many Adventure's of Winnie the Pooh ride followed by Peter Pan's Flight and It's a Small World. Keegan loved all of these and was happy to be able to ride almost everything at this park, unlike the others.

We did buy bigger shoes for Keegan and stuffed them with napkins so he would be tall enough for what would become his favorite ride (he really was only 1/4 of an inch off). The bunny ride. What is the bunny ride you ask? We all wondered the same thing until we realized it was Splash Mountain (Brer Rabbit is the bunny). Now every time in the car when the road dips Keegan says we're going down a big water fount, Mommy, like the bunny ride. He loved the big drop on Splash Mountain and enjoyed the soaking that everyone else ducked from. :)

It starts...

Cinderella's Castle... Keegan sees this everytime we start a Disney movie and has been unsure if it's a temple or not.  Sad to say that seeing it in person did not clear anything up.

Scott & Melissa in front of Space Mountain (not sure why I agreed to ride this one...)
Answer (from Andrew): BECAUSE IT IS AWESOME!!!  You can't beat riding a roller coaster that is pitch black the ENTIRE time!

Grandma and Keegan on Astro Orbiter

The Parade (no the Electrical Light Parade was cancelled during our trip so we did not get to see it--boo!)

We also enjoyed Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, the Jungle Cruise, and of course Pirates of the Caribbean. Scott was nice enough to ride with Keegan on the Mad Tea Party (tea cups) and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. We later found out that during this ride, Scott missed out on seeing Eli Manning. Turns out when they win the superbowl and say I want to go to Disney World, they mean the next day.

Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor was similar to Turtle Talk with Crush at Epcot in that it was a dynamic animated character show. It was a good laugh. The Tiki room was not my favorite but the music is still stuck in my head. :)

Andrew's Commentary: To all those Disney Fanatics out there who may be reading this and wondering, Why in the world did they skip "Big Thunder" Mountain....  Well it was CLOSED the whole time much to my mothers dismay.  That was her favorite ride and she made sure we all knew it :). Love ya Mom!
