Family Visit

Mom and Dad in front of Cinderella's Castle at Magic Kingdom. We were waiting for the parade to start so we thought we'd take some photos. This happened to be the parade where Keegan was sitting in the stroller and he leaned out so far to see the parade that he fell over and stopped the parade. Our water bottle rolled under one of the floats, the dancers came to make sure Keegan was ok. It was fantastic and not at all embarrassing. :)
My mother may never forgive me for posting this picture but it just captures such a fabulous moment, it's hard not to share. :) I told my mom that the Barnstormer ride was just a train ride. Turns out it's actually a plane and it's a mild roller coaster. You may notice how calm all of the other riders are, including Keegan. But not my mom, you'd think she was riding Space Mountain or Everest from her expression. All it took for her though was the Barnstormer. :)

Keegan, Grammie, Grandpa, & Andrew sporting 3-D glasses in preparation for Mickey's PhilharMagic show.

Dumbo! the Flying Elephant ride was a big hit. We've noticed they have one of these rides throughout the parks...just with a different name. In Adventure Land there is Aladdin's Carpet ride and in Animal Kingdom there is TriceraTop Spin. Keegan loves them all and doesn't realize the similarities. :)

Mommy, Daddy, and Tanner on It's A Small World. Yes Tanner looks a bit strange but seriously people, how many times do your kids actually look normal in pictures? I can probably count the number on one hand for both kids for us!
I know this picture isn't great but I had to share my dad's enthusiasm for the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin ride. And yes, he smoked me on the score. Apparently I just don't have what it takes to play video games well.
We took my parents to the resort Art of Animation. This is the Lion King section...although you can't see Simba, Timon, and Pumba atop this log, they are there.

So because blogger and I are having a disagreement, my commentary has to be at the bottom of this post. Anyway, my parents came to visit us for Keegan's 4th birthday--almost a month ago now. I am so behind! We had a lot of fun with them and in addition to taking them to Disney World (as you can see from the pictures above) we also took them to Cocoa Beach. I'm glad I've seen beaches on both the Gulf side and the Atlantic side now because I definitely prefer the Gulf side. I'm no surfer though so I guess it really depends on what you plan to do at the beach.

We loved having visitors and hope that they will not be our last!

Okay, so it turns out, I DO STILL LOVE YOU! That's no big secret that I have always been totally freaked out by even tiny roller coasters. I was born that way for sure, since I do not remember a time in my life that I wasn't disproportionately scared of them. I have seen some of those pictures and they are mostly cute.

And look at that!!! It posted as MY name and I didn't have to hold my breath for 60 seconds, turn 3 cartwheels and do a back hand spring even! So I am going to post this one more comment, since you never get any anyway.
