Orcas Island

Grandma and G-pop came to visit us a few days before Keegan's baptism so we planned a fun trip to Orcas Island. It's one of three islands that make up the San Juan Islands here in Washington state. And while it's technically part of the state of Washington it is actually further north than Victoria, B.C. so further north than part of Canada. Our whole family planned to go to Orcas Island with Grandma and G-pop but sadly I (Erika) got really sick with the flu that had been passing through the family. So Andrew took the kids with his mom and Ken and they still were able to have a great time. The weather has been sunny here in Washington but is on the verge of our typically raining skies. Luckily it held out for the trip to Orcas Island.

We're so glad the island delivered even in the off season and that Grandma and G-pop got see the best side of it.
